Malvern Hills, Worcester and Wychavon Councils agree to go ahead with a public consultation on Preferred Options document
The Preferred Options Document sets out the emerging spatial planning framework for the long term development of South Worcestershire. It seeks to ensure that future investment is made in a properly co-ordinated manner to ensure the delivery of sustainable development and good quality design.

On 24th June 2008 Malvern Hills, Worcester and Wychavon Councils agreed to send the Preferred Options document out for consultation from 19th September 2008 to 31st October 2008.
Members of the three councils wish to hear the comments of stakeholders, consultees and the general public before deciding on a definitive strategy for South Worcestershire for submission to the Secretary of State next year.
