Strategic Flood Risk Assessment Report
JBA Consulting, November 2009
A Strategic Flood Risk Assessment looks at the potential for flooding in South Worcestershire (Malvern Hills District, Wychavon District and Worcester City Councils). JBA Consulting were commissioned to produce a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA).
A Strategic Flood Risk Assessment makes up one of a number of planning tools that enables the Local Authorities to select and develop sustainable site allocations for development away from areas of greatest vulnerability to flooding in the South Worcestershire Joint Core Strategy area. The assessment includes specific preferred development locations that are proposed for the South Worcestershire Joint Core Strategy Pre-Submission Document.
